2024 Coding Update On-demand

This on-demand activity will provide an overview of coding and billing changes that have taken place for CY 2024, the status of the IR code set, and education on category III codes for IR. This on-demand course focuses on new, revised, and deleted codes for 2024, the AMA CPT® manual's instructional changes for split or shared visits and unlisted codes, increasing the use of CAT III IR codes, and an overview of the IR code set. This course is intended to meet the educational needs of Physicians, In training Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Physician Assistants and Radiologic Technologists with an interest or responsibilities for accurate coding and practice reimbursement.

As a result of participating in this activity, the learner should be able to:

• Utilize the new CPT codes and correct coding for these IR procedures
• Understand the updates to the AMA CPT introductory language on the use of codes and modifiers and the correct reporting of services for our IRs.
• Compare and interpret codes to better utilize CAT III codes in IR
