- Mobilize an elite group of engaged and politically active interventional radiologists
SIR Advocacy Fund
The SIR Advocacy Fund is a vital funding resource designed to support and expand critical advocacy initiatives that shape the future of IR at both the state and federal levels. The advocacy fund can accept support from nonmembers, office-based labs (OBLs) and private practices, and IR-aligned corporate partners.
Your contribution to the SIR Advocacy Fund will support these initiatives and others like them:
- Establish state advocacy programs: Create and deploy state-level advocacy efforts to pass legislation requiring private insurance to cover essential IR procedures
- Expand in-person legislative activity: Increase the frequency and participation in SIR’s Congressional fly-in events, state capital visits, and state and regional advocacy events, ensuring IR voices are heard on Capitol Hill and beyond
